Can I take GST input credit for an invoice that was raised against my company 2 months ago?

Yes. You can take the input tax credit on any bill which has been raised on or after April 1 till March 31 of that financial year. There is no penalty for not claiming the ITC and the portal allows you to take it even if you have failed the returns for the month in which the invoice was raised
