My 15-year old son, who looks older, just signed a contract joining a health club which has dues of Rs. 1000 a month. Is this contract valid?

No, contract with a minor is not valid as they lack contractual capacity A contract made by a minor is null and void.  In other words, your son doesn’t have any legal liability under the said contract.  Furthermore, there is no provision for ratification of the contract either.
